Public Health Emergency Ending – May 11, 2023

Why This Matters?
- Vaccines (Insured vs. Uninsured)
- Moderna will continue to be no cost to patients regardless of insurance status
- Pfizer will be $110 per dose
- COVID Treatments
- Medicaid programs will continue to cover COVID-19 treatments without cost sharing through September 30, 2024. After that, coverage and cost sharing may vary by state.
- COVID Tests & Testing
- Unclear at this time if they will remain no cost
- Testing facilities are closing
- Rx for COVID tests will likely result in an office visit and/or lab bill
