TAPinto — December 5, 2018

NEWARK, NJ — More than 300 small businesses are expected to turn out to a free exhibition tomorrow, Dec. 6, in the Hahne Building to learn how to access financing and other resources.

New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund is partnering with the city and companies to host the event, which will connect small business owners with nonprofits, lenders and more.

"Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and it's important that we connect them to every resource available to help them prosper and grow," said New Jersey Citizen Action Director Phyllis Salowe-Kaye in a statement.

A 12-foot mural painted by Morris County-based artist Daniel Fenelon and sponsored by PNC Bank for their office will also be unveiled.

The event kicks off at 5 p.m. To register, visit www.njcaef.org.

New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund also partnered with the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation, AARP New Jersey and JP Morgan Chase for the event.
