Consumer advocate offers tax help New Jersey Citizen Action, a Newark-based consumer advocacy organization, is offering free taxpreparation services to qualified state residents.
Low- to moderate-income residents, who earned $42,000 or less in 2008, are eligible for the service, which begins Jan. 14 in Newark, where the organization is based.
