Reps. Rush Holt and Frank Pallone were at the State House this morning to push for revisions to the new Medicare prescription drug program.
Holt, D-Hopewell Township, and Pallone, D-Long Branch, held a press conference with New Jersey Citizen Action and Americans United for Change to launch what they termed the "Medicare Part D Disaster Campaign."
The campaign is designed to push for federal legislation to allow Medicare to negotiate with drug companies for lower prices, limit when medicines can be removed from approved lists of covered drugs and take other steps to ensure senior citizens are able to get the prescription drugs they need.
