TRENTON — U.S. Rep. Rush Holt will be speaking at a forum on the Affordable Care Act tomorrow night, to encourage uninsured citizens to learn about their coverage options under the law known as Obamacare.

Holt (D-Hopewell Township) will be joined by Bishop William Stokes of the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey and Rev. Rene John at the Trinity Cathedral at 801 West State St. at 6 p.m.

Volunteers and enrollment experts from Henry J. Austin Health Center, Mercer Street Friends, New Jersey Citizen Action and the New Jersey Hospital Association's Covering New Jersey Project will be answering questions about the enrollment process and scheduling appointments to meet with customers.

Despite problems accessing the heath-care marketplace website,, customers and counselors can submit paper applications.

The Trenton area has about 19,300 uninsured individuals eligible for coverage under the law, according to the groups.
