As the U.S. Senate delayed its vote on its bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) New Jersey Citizen Action continued its protest rallies outside the offices of New Jersey Republican members including Rep. Leonard Lance (R-7th) in Westfield. Protests were also held outside the offices of Congressmen Frank LoBiondo, Chris 5mith and Tom MacArthur "to reject proposals that will gut life-saving health care for a half million people, including children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy and big corporations."

New Jersey Citizen Action joined the "Medicaid Not Millionaires Day of Action" led by Health Care for America Now (HCAN) partners across the country.

"According to the CBO (Congressional Budget Office), this Senate bill will cause 22 million people to lose health care coverage. Our representatives in Congress must not sit by and watch — and be complicit in putting hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans in harm's way by obliterating their health care coverage." said Maura Collinsgru, health care program director for NJ Citizen Action.
