SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — People are confused by all the recent headlines about health care policy options. In fact health care options have become virtual political slogans. But what does "Medicare For All" really mean and how does it compare to what we have now? What's best for you?

On May 7, New Jersey Citizen Action, in partnership with Westfield 20/20 Health Care Committee, will host a free public educational forum called, "Beyond the Health Care Headlines - Exploring the Options" at the Shady Rest Clubhouse of Scotch Hills Country Club.

All the major options will be covered, with a focus on those discussed by our US Senators and Congresspeople as well as candidates for public office. The discussion will be led by Joel C. Cantor, a Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and the founding Director of the Center for Health Policy at Rutgers, along with Maura Collinsgru, Health Care Program Director, New Jersey Citizen Action.

For more information and to reserve a seat, go to EventBrite.com and search for "Beyond the Health Care Headlines". Or email healthcare@westfield2020.org for more information.
