As budget season heats up down in Trenton, what promises to be a large protest of Gov. Christie's proposed financial plan is shaping up for Saturday, May 22 at the State House. The nonprofit citizen watchdog coalition New Jersey Citizen Action is one of the groups working to bring folks from all over New Jersey down; they are offering free seats on chartered buses from a number of locations, including Jersey City.

The rally begins at noon on May 22; a Citizen Action bus is slated to leave from the intersection of West Side and Claremont Avenues (by the West Side Avenue light rail stop) at 8:30 am. Seats are limited; call Adam Sherman at 732-246-4772 ext. 22.
